This is a key milestone in safety and business continuity management, reinforcing the company’s preparedness for extreme winter conditions.
Tuesday, September 30, 2025. On Tuesday, September 30, Vicuña completed a new edition of its Winter Plan. During this period, the project and its collaborating companies faced months of extreme weather conditions in the high mountain range that demanded a rigorous preparation, planning and coordination between areas. Thanks to this joint effort, it was possible to maintain the continuity of activities and guarantee the care of people.
The operation included specific preventive measures, reinforced safety protocols, training and a work plan adapted to the low temperatures and the logistics of working at altitude. The team’s performance made it possible to meet the operational objectives and consolidate the commitment to the goal of zero incidents.
In this regard, the work of the areas, contractors and subcontractors, whose commitment and professionalism were decisive in achieving the main objective: that each worker returned home safe and sound at the end of this stage, stands out.
The closing of the Winter Plan 2025 marks a new achievement in the formation of the joint venture and consolidates the commitment to a culture of safety.
