Vicuña has onboarded its first 60 heavy equipment operators, marking a key milestone in the development of early works. The group, composed primarily of workers from Iglesia, Jáchal, and Guandacol, has begun its induction and training phase.

March 2026 – The onboarding takes place ahead of the start of on-site preparatory activities and is the result of a recruitment process launched in October, aimed at identifying and developing local talent. The operators will perform roles such as operating heavy-duty trucks and will participate in a training program that includes simulator-based instruction and on-site technical training, with a strong focus on safety standards.

This initial intake is aligned with the project’s commitment to prioritizing local workforce participation from the earliest stages. As preparatory activities progress, additional personnel are expected to be onboarded in line with operational requirements.
