The first two contingents toured the Project to learn about particularities such as the location of the deposits and daily operations. They also had the emotional experience of visiting the workspace where their loved ones spend most of their days.
San Juan, November 2025. During October and November, the Institutional Relations team started a new cycle of the Visits Program, after the completion of the fourth Winter Plan. The objective of this program is to build solid relationships of trust through a tour of the most important points of the camp, at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters.
A group of journalists from San Juan was the inaugural contingent of the 2025 cycle. The team of professionals experienced firsthand the logistical rigor associated with the altitude, the professionalism of the employees and the real magnitude of the daily operational tasks of the project.
The press delegation was composed of: Diego Varela and Maximiliano Chávez (Diario Libre Iglesia), Bárbara Ardanaz and Cristian Penna (Canal 8 and sanjuan8.com), Hugo Vinzio (Región Binacional), Marcela Sosa (0264Noticias and Radio Light), Gabriela Chirino (Diario La Provincia), Francisco Tello (Canal 13 and GS Media), Juan Ignacio García (Fuerza Minera).

Subsequently, during the first week of November, mothers, fathers, children, siblings and couples came to learn about the place where their loved ones spend so many days, as well as how the camp lives and works.
They were very emotional moments, full of hugs, pride and tranquility, highlighting the work and unconditional support of the family.
Tour Itinerary
The visit takes place over two intensive days. The first day includes an induction talk at the camp facilities, where essential Project topics are addressed, such as: Environment, Health and Safety, Geology and Engineering, Community Relations, Camp Logistics, among others.
On the second day, for local journalists, the group went to the Josemaría and Filo de Sol deposits. There, the Geology and Operations team provided engaging information on key issues in Vicuña. At that time, the journalists were able to gather valuable testimonies about what it means to develop a project of this magnitude under extreme climatic and altitude conditions.
The family members, on the other hand, got to know in detail the Josemaría deposit and the sampler, besides being able to talk to the workers to learn about the operation and the extreme conditions in which they carry out their work.
The Institutional Relations area will continue to implement this program until the beginning of the next Winter Plan in 2026. The initiative seeks to invite different interest groups to generate close and fruitful meetings that foster active communication and consolidate long-term relationships.
