More than 50 local companies participated in this session, which helped showcase regional capabilities and generate initial commercial connections, laying the groundwork for future collaboration opportunities.

As part of the bidding process for the construction of 170 km of the future Northern Corridor, from Angualasto to La Majadita, Vicuña organized a new business round aimed at local suppliers with the potential to join the project’s value chain.

The event took place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Nodo Pismanta, between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with previously assigned time slots. Participation was limited and required mandatory registration.

The purpose of this round was to strengthen local development and create business relationships that extend beyond the current bidding process, generating concrete opportunities for regional companies involved in goods and services related to road infrastructure works.

The meeting followed an agile and direct format: bidding companies listened to proposals from local suppliers in face-to-face sessions, exchanged key information, explored subcontracting opportunities, and shared contact details. Samples of products and services were also presented.

Each supplier had an estimated time per bidder to present their proposal and answer questions.

The event was aimed at companies with registered tax addresses in Iglesia and Jáchal, a condition subject to verification, with a maximum of two representatives per company due to space limitations.

Beyond the current bidding process, this initiative is conceived as a space for mutual learning, networking, and highlighting local capabilities, which remain available for future stages of the project.

Vicuña will continue promoting this type of initiative at strategic moments as part of its operational processes, with the objective of supporting the sustained strengthening of the local value chain.
