San Juan, November 2025 – During this month, the Local Content Development area completed the second edition of the Catering and Cleaning Program in the Iglesia department. This initiative underscores the Project’s commitment to boosting the local economy and the insertion of enterprises in the industrial and mining value chain.
The training program, which lasted 6 months, succeeded in training and qualifying 13 local enterprises, resulting in a total of 18 qualified products and their respective establishments able to operate.

Value Chain Impact and Projection
The main objective of the program is to provide the ventures with the necessary tools to legally and operationally qualify their products and establishments, enabling them to insert themselves formally and competitively into the value chain, not only in the mining sector, but also in the industry in general. The training was provided by Ernesto Clavel, Laura Leiva and Osvaldo Elizondo, who supported the mentoring of the various enterprises.
This second edition represents a key step and constant progress in strengthening the productive ecosystem of Iglesia, ensuring that local catering and cleaning services meet and conform to the quality and safety standards required by large industrial operations. Vicuña thus reaffirms its strategy of promoting the development of sustainable and quality local suppliers.
